The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has once again awarded reaccreditation status to LJB University, the training division of LJB Inc.
IACET Accredited Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which provide a permanent record for professionals and ensure that they have participated in quality continuing education and training programs under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.
“We are proud of LJB University’s training programs that provide professionals—including our employees—crucial skills that enable them not only to maintain relevancy, but also to perform their jobs safely and efficiently,” said Tim Azbill, director of LJB University. “Our renewed accreditation with IACET demonstrates our continuing commitment to quality adult education and high standards for all of our programs, whether we’re hosting students in our training center in Dayton, Ohio, or in customer locations throughout the world.”
LJB University first earned IACET accreditation in 2003 and has maintained it ever since. To achieve this recent renewal of its Accredited Provider status, LJB University completed a rigorous application process, including a review by an IACET site visitor, and successfully demonstrated adherence to the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation of its programs. The reaccreditation is effective Dec. 1, 2018, and lasts five years.
“We are pleased to reaccredit LJB University as an Accredited Provider,” stated Peter Finn, president of IACET and director of learning and development for the Society of Women Engineers in Chicago. “LJB University joins nearly 500 organizations around the globe that have had their programs vetted by third-party experts in continuing education, thereby ensuring the highest possible standards are met.”
LJB University has awarded CEUs to more than 9,000 LJB employee and client learners through more than 100 accredited courses, including its flagship fall protection series that includes:
- Authorized Person fall protection training
- Competent Person fall protection training
- Qualified Person fall protection training
