LJB Inc. is pleased to announce the election of Daniel McCabe to its board of directors. McCabe will serve on the seven-member board for up to six years, filling one of the four seats dedicated to independent directors who are neither employees nor shareholders of the corporation.
McCabe is the chief administrative officer of CareSource, a leading nonprofit public-sector managed healthcare company based in Dayton, Ohio. He provides strategic leadership and oversight of CareSource’s administrative functions, including human resources, CareSource University, vendor management, community relations, and corporate communications & public relations.
“Dan brings a wealth of experience and strategic vision to LJB, and we are honored to have him on our team,” said LJB CEO Rod Sommer. “Dan’s extensive background with domestic and international initiatives, workforce development, IT, and marketing, as well as his stellar history of board leadership for a number of prominent Dayton-area nonprofit organizations, make him an ideal board member for our organization.”
“I’m beyond thrilled to be part of such a strong organization,” said McCabe. “I’m looking forward to continuing the great progress that has been made over the past few years.”
McCabe replaces outgoing independent board member, Joan Swenson, who served the maximum term allowed by LJB corporate bylaws.
