Kirby Avenue Safe Routes to School Project

Welcome to our Online Public Open House, which became active on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. The Mt. Airy Town Council zoom meeting held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 featured a project presentation by Mr. Chris Kelly from the City of Cincinnati’s Department of Transportation and Engineering. Due to the pandemic, we are not holding an in-person meeting to discuss the project. However, we still want to hear from you! The goal of this virtual event is to provide you an opportunity to learn about the project and provide feedback to the City.

The project will add sidewalk to the south side of Kirby Avenue in Cincinnati between W North Bend Road and the Sun Valley Apartments. The sidewalk will go along the Philip Morton Triangle and under the W North Bend Road bridge to the Sun Valley Apartments driveway. This project also includes the installation of four new school zone flashers in the vicinity of Woodward High School.

The purpose of this online open house is for the City to provide project information to interested citizens and to ask for their input and feedback about the project. Persons who require special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act or persons who require translation services (free of charge) should contact the City of Cincinnati Department of Transportation and Engineering at 513-352-3721 to make arrangements.
