The goal of LJB's fall protection training is to change the way people think about and apply fall protection. We don't want our trainees to simply check off a requirement. We want them to leave our training with the skills and tools to address fall protection issues before they arise.
More than 95% of our trainees say they would recommend our course to a peer. These are just a few of the specific things our trainees have said about our fall protection training courses.
"This course does a good job of moving the mindset from “fall protection” to “protection from a fall.” The goal is to avoid falls in the first place—not just catch someone once they have fallen."
Ed Grosse – Shell Deer Park Refinery
“The most impressive aspect of the training was your team’s ability to make a very complex and overwhelming subject understandable and practical for our employees.”
Luke Mazur - Marathon Petroleum Company - Michigan Refining Division
“I was so impressed with LJB’s fall protection training that I recommended it for every contractor on our site. It has helped us become more aware and knowledgeable about fall hazards, equipment limitations and the importance of fall rescue plans. If everyone has this level of fall protection knowledge, we can significantly reduce fall risk at our site.”
Monica Hale - Husky Energy Corporation, Lima Refining Division
"Having the experience of suspending in a harness and inspecting equipment was very eye opening for me. It made me recognize that there are some gaps in the industry—we can’t just hand people a harness and tell them to use it."
Jeff Luquette - Motiva Norco Refinery
"I learned something new every single day of the class. What I learned really helped me out with some specific issues at our site."
Nate Bumstead, Marathon Petroleum Company – Garyville Refinery
"People tend to immediately think about a harness and tie off point when talking fall protection. LJB’s fall protection training really reinforced that when you stop and think about it, you can often find a solution that doesn’t require personal equipment."
