You are here: Home What We Do Infrastructure Planning

At LJB, we strive to find solutions before inadequate infrastructure becomes a problem.

As neighborhoods and businesses continue to develop and grow, the need for sufficient infrastructure has significantly increased. Well-designed streets have the potential to knit together and enhance a community, to function as inviting and pleasing open space that becomes an amenity for the region. Our skilled professionals identify transportation deficiencies and determine the best alternatives to meet future demands.

LJB has completed several area-wide transportation planning studies that focus on system improvements, economic analysis, land-use planning and long-range transportation forecasts. These studies looked at the transportation system from a long range perspective and typically involve extensive public involvement efforts.

LJB understands and respects the street environment in its entirety, and brings projects a toolbox of treatments that can beautify and improve the safety of streets while maintaining their basic functional purposes. We evaluate and analyze the potential impacts of transportation improvements while addressing the concerns and goals of the communities served by these improvements.
